- Four Director-at-Large spots are open on the 2018/19 Board
- Nominations are due by August 31
- NEW mail-in voting option for Director elections!
Alberta Lamb Producers is the voice of producers in discussions with industry stakeholders and government. ALP needs a strong Board of Directors to ensure the interests of producers are represented, viable marketing opportunities are developed, and that check-off dollars are spent wisely.
Four positions are open on the 2018/19 ALP Board
Changes to ALP's regulations, voted on during the 2016 Fall Meetings, resulted in a move from Zone Director to Director-at-Large positions. A Director-at-Large can be any elected producer regardless of their location within the province.
To stand for election, you MUST submit a completed nomination form to the ALP office by August 31. Nominations cannot be accepted after this time. Click to download a nomination form now or visit the ALP website.
The deadline to submit nomination forms is early to allow for mail-in voting! Advance voting will allow all producers to be active and involved with their organization, even if they are unable to attend the AGM. Mail-in voting packages for producers eligible to vote will be included with the Fall N’ewesletter. In-person voting will occur at the AGM on November 3rd.
