Over the past few years, the number of 4-H sheep project members across the province has been on the rise! So don’t be the lone sheep this summer, head to Olds and join the flock of 4-Hers who’ll be there for the largest, and the most fun, 4-H sheep project event in the province! Showcase your project and apply your knowledge and skill in trimming, showmanship, judging, and marketing classes. Swap stories of project successes, hilariousness and lessons learned with 4-Hers who are as equally passionate about the sheep industry as you are. You’ll also have access to experts who’ll gladly share their knowledge of the industry with you.
And if you don’t want to bring your sheep project animal(s) that’s no wool off our backs! Feel free to register and take part in the many opportunities that are available and don’t require you to bring your animal.
* 4-H members who show livestock at the dairy, sheep, or beef-heifer provincial 4-H livestock shows, are also encouraged to register for Summer Synergy. This program includes additional show opportunities for those with animals, as well as a scholarship program.
