The 2025 AGM, Conference and Farm Tour was on November 14-15, 2025. Held in Lethbridge this year, it was an educational and inspiring event where producers, sponsors and industry came together.
Darlene Hawco, Richard van Driesten, Martin Winchell, Cody Legault and Edward Machuk have been nominated and acclaimed for the Director-at-large positions. Esther Hoogland was introduced as the Director-in-Training. Jordan Allen was recognized for completing two terms on the board, as well as time spent acting as Executive Director while the organization was between staff. Jordan was presented with a certificate, thank you card and a plaque that will hang on the wall in the Alberta Sheep Centre.
2025-2026 Alberta Lamb Producers Budget, was presented by Adam French, for information purposes only. This document excludes all project funding so is more representative of how ALP has used and proposes to use check off dollars.
Shannon Troke of King and Company Chartered Accountants presented the 2024-2025 financial statements via Zoom.
There were no proposed producer resolutions received for the 2025-2026 year. Martin Winchell reported on the progress of the 2024-2025 passed resolutions.
Jordan Allen presented the 2024-2025 annual report and plans for the 2025-2026 year.
