Co-hosted by Olds College of Agriculture & Technology and Lakeland College, the upcoming Sheep Research Showcase is for students and producers interested in sheep production. This event will showcase emerging technologies and management practices to support sheep producers by:
- Providing “hands-on” learning of devices currently being researched for the sheep industry.
- Presenting results of research conducted in Alberta.
- Demonstrating animal handling techniques.
- Improving the agriculture industry through research.
- Providing an opportunity to speak with researchers one-on-one about future research that meets the needs of Alberta sheep producers.
